A dash camera exists for one afternoon that may never come, and on that afternoon it is the only account of what happened that nobody can argue with. A 120° wide-angle lens covers the width of the road ahead.
The 2.5 inch colour LCD means you can set the framing without a phone, and it rotates through 270° for awkward windscreens. It records at 30 fps to AVI, with stills as JPEG.
It runs from the car’s 12–24 V supply through the included charger, with its own lithium battery as backup, and folds to 106 × 62 × 33 mm – about a pack of cards. Bracket, cable and manual are in the box.
