This one plugs into the 12 V socket and takes its power from the car, so there is no battery in it to go flat while it waits in the boot. For something you might not touch for a year, that is the honest advantage over a rechargeable pump.
A pressure gauge is built into the body so you can see what you are doing, and the nozzles cover tyres, air beds, swim rings and footballs. The ABS body is light enough to live in a glovebox rather than the boot.
